Got Your Back Careers is built by Josh Keeler, who spent a decade as a recruiter running the exact boolean searches a resume has to survive to land in front of a real person — including a stretch sourcing technical talent for Amazon's Alexa AI team. That's the actual thing recruiters do — not the "ATS score" most resume tools sell you, which is mostly an invented number. This tool is built on what actually happens at the search-and-skim stage, because that's the stage that decides everything else.

It exists because of a real, current job search — running IT, IT recruiting, warehouse, food service, and security tracks at the same time, and getting tired of rewriting the same resume from scratch for every single one. The product's core rule came out of that: every claim it makes has to be something you'd actually say out loud in an interview. It won't invent experience you don't have, and it won't tell you a bad-fit job is a good one just to be encouraging. Sometimes the honest answer is "skip this one" — and that's on purpose. It's not the fastest way to blast out fifty applications a week. It's the way to make the ones you actually care about land.
