Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect someone else has access to your account, email josh@gotyourback.careers right away.

Accuracy of what you submit

You're responsible for the accuracy of the work history, credentials, and other information you provide. This product helps you present true experience clearly and in the terms a given job posting uses — it does not fabricate experience you don't have, and you shouldn't use it to do so. Before you download or submit any resume, review it and confirm it's accurate. We don't independently verify what you enter, and we're not responsible for misrepresentations you choose to submit despite the product's design intent.

No guarantee of outcomes

We help you present your real experience clearly and tailor it to a specific job posting. We don't guarantee interviews, offers, or any other employment outcome.

Plans and billing

Building your profile and exporting a resume are free, with no feature limits tied to payment. Every account also gets 3 free job-description analysis cycles (the requirement scorer, follow-up questions, and a tailored resume) at no charge — that allotment doesn't expire or reset, and once it's used, further job analyses require an active paid plan. Full, current pricing for paid plans is always on the Pricing page. We may introduce, change, or retire plans; any price increase to a subscription you're already on will be disclosed in advance and won't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.

Automatic renewal (Monthly Access)

Monthly Access is a recurring subscription. By purchasing it, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each month, on the same day of the month as your original purchase, until you cancel. It renews automatically each month unless and until you cancel. 90-Day Access is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew or convert into a subscription.

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription, go to Billing and select "Manage billing," then "Cancel subscription." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again, and you'll retain access through the period you've already paid for. No phone call, email, or additional information is required. Canceling your subscription does not delete your account or data; see our Privacy page for account and data deletion.

Refunds

Charges for Monthly Access ($29/month) are non-refundable once billed. You may cancel at any time to stop future charges, but the current billing period is not refunded.

For 90-Day Access ($79, one-time), you may request a full refund within 14 days of your original purchase date by emailing josh@gotyourback.careers. Refund requests made after 14 days, or for any renewal or subsequent charge, are not eligible.

Your content

You own the information you submit to build your resume profile. We use it only to operate and improve the product for you — we don't sell it or use it to train models for other users. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from account settings; see our Privacy page for details. Deletion is immediate and permanent — we don't keep a recoverable copy afterward.

Acceptable use

Don't use this app to submit false credentials, impersonate someone else, generate content for anyone other than yourself, circumvent usage limits or security measures, or scrape or resell access to the product. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

Intellectual property

The app itself — its software, scoring methodology, and design — belongs to Fire Within Consulting LLC. Using the product doesn't give you rights to any of that beyond the ability to use the app as intended.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranty that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access for violating these terms, or for any reason with reasonable notice — except where immediate termination is warranted by abuse or unlawful conduct.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll post the updated version here; continued use after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

This app is early — these terms describe how the product actually works today, in plain language, rather than being a full lawyer-drafted policy. If that distinction matters for your situation, email us before you subscribe or upload anything sensitive.
